My Mummy is Helen, a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with 33 years multidiscipline First Opinion and Specialist Referral Veterinary experience.🤍
Mummy and Me
Before Mummy adopted me, she had been working seven days a week as a Specialist Referral Veterinary Nurse and Vet Field Tech Support Officer. However, just before I was born she lost her furpanion of 14 years to a sudden aggressive bone cancer and it knocked her for six. My late sister was a Hungarian Vizsla and travelled everywhere with Mummy, she was immaculately behaved and perfectly trained so travelling for work was effortless. The loss made Mummy totally re-evaluate her lifestyle and she eventually decided to quantify her work-life balance, dropping the gruelling night shifts and long hours after 30 years of loyal service. She started working from home for an amazing dog friendly company and it gave her the freedom to travel where and when she wished, but she missed having a furpanion and travel buddy. After a year she rescued me and we have been inseparable ever since!
